- Allows users of the Link 150 system to receive and retrieve additional features (ex. text messaging) using their SpectraLink Wireless Telephones.
- A single OAI Telephony Gateway is required for one Link 150 system.
- Allows up to 64 users to utilize the features from OAI integration.
- Must be connected as the last unit in the chain of MCUs in a multiple MCU environment.
- Requires a serial port connection to customer provided computer system with appropriate customer provided software.
- For use with Link 150 MCUs only.
- Applications for the OAI include Education: Send a discrete text message to a teacher during class or alert staff of a problem instantly. Healthcare: Receive text messages from nurse call systems, respond to patient calls, receive email from test labs. Manufacturing: Receive alarms from malfunctioning equipment, managers monitor production output. Retail: Merchandise price lookups or inventory database access.
